CAVB President Reiterates Commitment To African Volleyball Growth

The President of the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), Bouchra Hajij, reaffirmed her continued support to the development of volleyball across the continent of Africa.

President Hajij made the commitment at the Technical Meeting of the 2025 CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Championship in Abuja.

“Africa have abound talent and we must work hard to progress,” President Hajij said.

This announcement underscores the CAVB’s dedication to fostering the growth of the sport at all levels, from grassroots initiatives to elite competitions.

Her leadership and dedication plays a vital role in driving the sport forward and ensuring its sustainable development. The reaffirmation of support from the CAVB President is expected to further motivate stakeholders and contribute to the progress of volleyball in Africa.

The Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, has assured a conducive environment for all participants at the 2025 African Women’s Volleyball Club championship in Abuja.
