CERUD Trains 500 Rural Dwellers on Modern Fishing Techniques
The Centre for Rural Development (CERUD), has trained 500 rural residents on cutting-edge fishing techniques in Lagos.
During the exercise, empowerment substances have been given to a hundred members from the Epe and Badagry divisions to allow them to take off smoothly.
Some of the equipment included large plastic tanks for preserving fish, 1,000 young fish, and various-sized fish feeds in addition to medications.
The Director and Chief Executive Officer of CERUD, Mr Stephen Adeniji, urged the beneficiaries to maximize the use of the substances given to them to decorate their financial well-being, as well as contribute their quotas to the national government’s plan to boost agricultural manufacturing and protect food production in Lagos State.
The beneficiaries pledged to utilize the opportunity offered to improve their living standards and contribute to the rural improvement initiative launched by governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
