CFAO Healthcare, a unit of the French conglomerate CFAO Group, has announced the expansion of its collaboration with Sanofi SA, a global pharmaceutical leader, to exclusively distribute the Sanofi General Medicines range in Nigeria, as part of efforts to boost the pharmaceutical sector in Africa’s most populous country.

CEO & Chairman of CFAO Healthcare, Jean-Marc Leccia said, “We are delighted to expand our partnership with Sanofi by extending the exclusive distribution of general medicines in Nigeria. CFAO Healthcare is actively strengthening its presence in the Nigerian market to respond effectively to the growing healthcare needs of the population and to secure access to quality medicines.”
CFAO Group, which has been present in Nigeria for 120 years, is consolidating its position in the country, where it operates in various sectors such as automotive, consumer goods and healthcare.
CFAO Healthcare, which was created in 2017, has a distribution platform called E.P. DIS, which will handle the Sanofi General Medicines range in Nigeria.
