Nigeria has confirmed 105 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases on Tuesday night via its official Facebook page.
The NCDC explained that the new cases were recorded in “Lagos-43, Gombe-21, FCT-16, Niger-10, Rivers-6, Plateau-5, Edo-2, Bauchi-1 and Kano-1.”
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 214,218 with 207,304 discharged and 2,977 COVID-19 related deaths.
