Nigeria has recorded 45 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 166,191
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, Lagos State reported 27 new cases, Rivers State 14 cases while Jigawa and Ekiti States had the lowest with 1 new case each.
“Lagos-27 Rivers-14 Kaduna-2 Jigawa-1 Ekiti-1.”
The NCDC also tweeted that as of 27 May, 166,191 cases had been confirmed, 156,535 cases treated and discharged, while 2,071 deaths were recorded.
