Nigeria has confirmed 47 new cases of the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases via its official Twitter handle on Tuesday night.
The 47 new cases are reported from Adamawa-19 Lagos-16 Enugu-3 Kaduna-3 Akwa Ibom-2 Delta-2 FCT-2
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 165,515, total discharged 156,358 and 2,065 confirmed deaths.
