Nigeria has recorded 645 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 151,553.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, 645 new cases were from 20 states. Lagos state reported the highest number with 282 new cases, Ogun state was second with 72 while the nation’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT was third with 150 cases.
The NCDC report added that Anambra state recorded 762 community recoveries, 132 in Plateau state and 126 in the FCT

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 20 February, 151,553 cases had been confirmed, 128,005 cases treated and discharged, while 1,831 deaths were recorded.
