Nigeria has recorded 60 new cases of the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Saturday night via its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov.

The NCDC stated that the 60 cases are from the following states : Lagos-22, Rivers-15, Bayelsa-7, Kaduna-5, Ogun-4, Akwa Ibom-3, Osun-2, Kano-1, Ebonyi-1
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 164,207 with 154, 325 discharged and 2,061 deaths.
