Nigeria has confirmed a lower daily toll of fifty new COVID-19 cases in six states when compared to last Friday’s sixty -six cases reported, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 163,113.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, Lagos State reported the highest number with 27 new cases, Plateau was second with 11 while Nasarawa and Ekiti states had the lowest with 1 new case each
“Lagos-27 Plateau-11 Bayelsa-7 Gombe-3 Nasarawa-1 Ekiti-1.”
The NCDC also tweeted that as of 3 April, 163,113 cases had been confirmed, 151,853 cases treated and discharged, while discharged 2,058 deaths were recorded.
