Culture,Tourism will improve China, Nigeria relations – Director

The use of Culture and Tourism between Nigeria and the People’s Republic of China will significantly improve people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.
The Director of China Cultural Center in Nigeria Mr. Li Xuda stated this at the Launch of China Tourism and Culture week in Abuja, Nigeria.
Mr. Xuda noted that, the week long event is marked as a global event designed to showcase the rich Culture and Tourism potentials of the Chinese and their similarities in Nigeria.

“You can know more about beautiful China and its rich Culture through our online exhibitions, short video shows, culture micro class etc.”
Mr. Xuda explained that “Nigeria and China signed bilateral agreement to encourage cooperation in Tourism early 2022 with particular focus on exchange programmes, human capacity building, joint marketing and investment.”
He called for better partnerships between the two countries.
Also, the Director Domestic and Eco – Tourism Nigeria’s Ministry of Information and Culture, Mrs Patricia Joseph, said Nigeria is coming up in the Tourism sector.
She called on the Chinese to invest in Nigeria’s tourism sector and develop the enormous potentials.
Also speaking, Mr. Amana Ben-Ugo of Ministry of Information and Culture, called on the Chinese government to construct one model secondary school in of the six geo – political zones in Nigeria as a way of improving China – Nigeria relations.
Nigeria and the People’s Republic of China have recently celebrated fifty years of bilateral relations in many areas of economic development.
