As part of efforts to enhance healthcare accessibility, 24 Telemed, a digital healthcare company, has expanded its platform to provide swift medical care to Nigerians across the country, regardless of location.

Dr Mariette Amadi, founder of 24 Telemed, disclosed this in an interview in Abuja.

She stated that the initiative, inaugurated two years ago in partnership with Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) in Anambra and Enugu, had now been introduced in Abuja.

According to her, digital healthcare platform provides access to medical care via telecommunication and teleconsultation.

She said it aimed at bridging healthcare gaps, especially in rural areas with poor internet connectivity.

Explaining the five easy steps to access the platform, Amadi said that users could visit the patient URL www.24telemed.org and log in with a valid username and password.

She said that, “Though the service focused on chronic diseases, emergency cases and other health conditions could also get help and appropriate referrals.”

She, however, urged Nigerians to embrace the initiative and enjoy instant medical care from a vast array of experts across the world.

Erik Obianozie, CEO of Boolean Technologies, assured that the platform was secured with robust security measures to protect patient data.
