Doma United stuns NPFL champions Enyimba 1-0

Doma United of Gombe stunned League champions Enyimba of Aba 1-0 on Wednesday.

A brilliant lay-up by Emmanuel Ekpenyong and Emmanuel Jesam allowed Hillary Ekawu slot home his first goal of the season on 16 minutes.

The People’s Elephants tried hard to equalize, but the Doma United backline led by agile goalie Kingdom Osayi held firm to shoot the Savanah Tigers to fourth place on the NPFL table.

Enyimba have sunk to seventeenth position and now face a looming relegation battle.
