The All Progressive Congress APC will hold ward Congress tomorrow 31st July, 2021 in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria.
The leader of the party in the State Engr. David Umahi stated this during emergency stakeholders meeting in Abakaliki the State Capital. Umahi noted that all the ward where there is no consensus should go to party Secretariat to reconcile.
“In a case where they fail to reconcile, they should go to Field where the popular candidate would emerge,” Umahi added.
He advised the electoral committee overseeing the Congress to ensure it goes well; directeing some wards who are still having problem to go to APC Secretariat to to ratify it.
“The places where consensus hasn’t taken place are: Ebonyi, Ohaukwu, Ishielu, Ivo L.G.A. Others are Ikwo, Ezza North and Ohozara Local Government Areas,” he pointed out.
The State APC Chairman, Mr Stanley Okoroemegha promised that there would be free, fair and credible election. Okoroemegha thanked Ebonyi People for supporting APC in the State. He promised that APC will not disappoint the State.
