Ebonyi Government encourages students on skill acquisition

Ebonyi State Government Southeast Nigeria has called on Ebonyi Students to engage in skill acquisition while in school.

The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor, Comrade Gideon Onwe made this Known to Journalists during his visit to the Redeem Initiative for Skills and Empowerment RISE in Abakaliki the State Capital.

Comrade Onwe said the drive is to ensure that some students sponsored by his office are doing well.

“Today the office of the Special Assistant to the governor on student affairs in company of the National Association of university students National vice President Nwite Oluchi Esther who doubles as the state Rep for Pan-African female youth leader, National Association of Nigeria students Joint campus committee Ewa Elechi , the director of special duties NANS zone B, south south/southeast  Nwuruku Alfred Olisa supervised some of her university students who were sponsored by the office of the SA on student affairs to acquire skills as organised by RISE2021 team

It is important to note that skills is very important to drive the world economy”. Onwe said.

The Special Assistant said His excellency the governor of Ebonyi State, Engr David Umahi is committed to human capacity development, hence this  continuos encouragement to the  youths.

The anchor of program is Reedemed initiative for skills and empowerment RISE owned by Redeem Christian Church of God RCCG.
