Ebonyi State: Commissioner advocates vocations among youths

The Ebonyi State Government, Southeast Nigeria has called on Individuals who have graduated from various higher institutions to combine their Certificates with vocations.

The State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr Steven Odoh who made the call, said certificate would add value to your life and economy if you have a vocation which the knowledge from the certificate would help you to explore.

He was speaking during Youth empowerment programme organised by the Redeem Christian Church of God, RCCG in Abakaliki the State Capital.

 

Dr Odoh said; “Let it be known to all the participants of this empowerment programme as long as your Certificates are lying in your cupboard, it remains a waste. It is the vocation that can reactivate the certificate.”

The Commissioner called on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to get their Corporate Affairs Commission Certificates and other requirements to enable them benefit from the various ongoing Federal and State Government Loans and grants.

The Senior Pastor in charge of RCCG, Ebonyi Province, Emmanuel Joshua said the programme was to put youths through economic wise.

The Organiser of the programme, Redeem Initiative for Skill Empowerment RISE, Pastor David Ogbuehi said the Youths need to be empowered hence the programme.

    This is great, it is time to combine certificate with Sabificate(vocation, what you can do with your hand), the time is now. RISE2021.
