The Government of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has inaugurated 35 Commissioners to Man the activities of the State. The Governor of the State, Chief Francis Nwifuru performed the inauguration ceremony at the Executive Council Chambers in Abakaliki the State Capital.
Governor Nwifuru charged them to be dedicated to their Duties.
The names of the Commissioners are:
“Engr. Stanley Lebechi Mbam – Works and Transport l, Dr. Leonard Uguru – Finance, Dr. Matthew Nwobashi – Lands and Survey, Prof. Omari Omaka (SAN) – Tertiary Education, Prof. Nwogo Obasi – Market Development & Parks, Elijah Okwu Oko Udu – Skill Development & Job Creation, Prince Etta Uka Ude – Internal Security, Hon. Victor Chukwu Uzoma – Environment, Jude Chikadibia Okpor – Information and State Orientation, Mr. Chidi Onyia – Solid Minerals, Oguzor Offia Nwali – Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Aligwe Ann – Human Capital Development, Prof. Paul Awo Nwobashi – Education (Primary & Secondary), Mr. Uchenna Igwe – Local Government & Chieftaincy Matters, Dr. Ben Odo Uruchi – Justice (HAG), Stanley Ifeanyi Ogbuewu – Culture and Tourism, Dr. Donatus C. Ilang – Boarder Peace & Conflict Resolution”

One of the Commissioners in charge of Finance and Economic Development, Dr Leonard Uguru on behalf of others thanked Nwifuru for the appointment.
He promised to deliver on the mandate given to them.
