Ebonyi State Governor Inaugurates new appointees

Ebonyi State Governor in South-East Nigeria, David Nweze Umahi has Inaugurated new Commissioners, Special Assistants, Head of Service and Development Centres Designates.

The appointment came to fill the vacancies created after some government appointees resigned their positions to vie for various political positions in the upcoming general election.

Shortly after, their swearing in, Governor Umahi, charged the appointees to bring their wealth of experiences to bear in the administration.

The State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Orji Uchenna Orji disclosed that the Appointments would help for the smooth running of Ebonyi State Government at all levels.

Those inaugurated in different positions include:

Mathias Adum – Commissioner for Lands and Survey

Romanus Nwasum – Commissioner for Infrastructural Development for Concession

Mr. Celestine Nwokpuru Nwali- Commissioner for Capital City Development

Chris Uchaji – Commissioner for Solid Mineral Development

Mrs. Beatrice Eze – Commissioner for Culture and Tourism

Dr. Mrs. Rita-Mary Okoro -State Head of Service.

Others are:

Barr. Uchenna Otuh -Special Assistant to the governor on Transport

Mr. Chooks Oko – Special Assistant to the governor on Strategies

And the development centres coordinators are;

Justice Ogbonna- Akaeze DC, Apostle Peter- Ubeyi DC , Sunday Agwu- Ishielu DC, Felix Ogbu Aniocha- Onicha DC, Chukwudi Pascal Obia -Izzi DC, Oliver Mbam- Ominyi DC, Agbo Eucheria – Ngbo Central DC”
