Edo Guber Primaries: APC Replaces Uzodinma As Election Committee Chairman

The All Progressives Congress, APC has replaced the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma as the Chairman of the election Committee that will conduct the rescheduled Party primary election in Edo State.

This was in a bid to address the controversies that trailed the Gubernatorial  Primary election held last Saturday in the State

The National Organising secretary, Sulaiman Arugungu who made this known also disclosed that Cross River state governor, Bassey Otu, who was the vice chairman is now to serve as the chairman of the Committee.

APC had on Tuesday, 20th Febuary declared the election headed by Governor Uzodinma inconclusive and ordered that the process be completed on Thursday, 22nd February, 2024.

Recall that Governor Uzodinma had announced a member of the House of Representatives, Dennis Idahosa as winner of the primary election contrary to that of the returning officer from across local government areas.
