Kaduna State Police Command has intensified security measures ahead of tomorrow’s Eld-al-Fitri celebration.

The security measures put in place by the Command were to ensure the safety and security of all citizens and residents across the state.

According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan in a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna, the measures are responses to the potential security threats during this festive period.

ASP Hassan also explained that the Command has devised meticulous operational strategies aimed at curbing the activities of criminal elements.

He said both conventional and mobile police personnel, including operatives from the Special Intervention Squad (SIS), have been strategically deployed across the state.

Additionally, undercover operatives have been tasked with monitoring key and vulnerable points to maintain a high level of security vigilance throughout the state.

While the Police reassured the public of its readiness to promptly respond to any distress calls and to decisively deal with any individual or group attempting to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere during the festive period, it also stated that members of the public are encouraged to carry out their lawful activities without fear of intimidation or harassment from any quarters.

“In collaboration with all security agencies in the state, the Kaduna State Police Command seeks to reassure members of the public of their safety. Citizens are encouraged to carry out their lawful activities without fear of intimidation or harassment from any quarter.”

“For further information or assistance, members of the public are encouraged to contact the Kaduna State Police Command through the following contact numbers: 07039675856, 08075391105,” the statement explained.
