Wife of the Nigerian President, Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated Muslims in the country for marking another festival of Eid-El-Kabir.
In her message to citizens in commemoration of the day also known as Sallah, Mrs Tinubu urged them to imbibe the habits of sacrifice and show of generosity to one another.
She said: “On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all our Muslim faithful across the nation.
“This is a time of deep reflection on the values of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and faith. It is also a time to show kindness and generosity. I urge you to remember your neighbours and extend a hand of love and support, especially to the less privileged.”
Furthermore, the First Lady called for prayers for peace and stability, as well as the progress of the nation.
“As we celebrate, also pray for our dear country, for continued peace, stability, and progress. Eid Mubarak!” she added.
