Elections: Anambra State APC Chapter Congratulates Tinubu

The Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima on their election victory.
The party said the victory affirmed the trust of the Nigerian people in the APC and its great candidates.
Briefing journalists on the outcome of the election, the state chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike, said the emergence of Senator Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria will further unite the country in all sections.
“I congratulate the President-elect His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect His Excellency Kashim Shettima on their resounding victory in Saturday’s Presidential Election.
“This victory affirms the trust of the Nigerian people in the APC and its candidates. The victory will further unite the country in all sections.
“The outcome of the election is a seal of approval by the Nigerian people of the performance of the government of the APC in the last eight years under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“So, on behalf of APC in Anambra state, I commend President Buhari for sustaining confidence in Nigeria’s democracy and our party.
“We are also proud of him for his statesmanship in ensuring a level playing field for all the contestants and for fully respecting the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“I commend the security agencies in the state, the Police DSS, Civil Defence, the Army, especially the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Echeng Echeng, for ensuring a conducive environment during the voting process.
“I also rejoice with the state coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Margret Okadigbo, our party supporters and lovers of Tinubu in the state over their dedication and commitment towards the victory.
“I wish to assure the President-elect of the full cooperation and support of Anambra APC through out his administration as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he stated.
However, Chief Ejidike used the opportunity to ask for forgiveness from all aggrieved party members in the state.
