EUROPA LEAGUE: Super subs Atiemwen, Aribo shine

Iyayi Atiemwen came off the bench to grab the winning goal for his Serbian club Dinamo Zagreb, while Joe Aribo was on target for Rangers to win at Antwerp in the UEFA Europa League.

Atiemwen came on in the last 25 minutes to score in the 75th minute for Dinamo Zagreb to win 3-2 at Russian club Krasnodar to stay on course for the Round of 16.

The big midfielder has scored thrice in the league.

In Belgium, Rangers continued their winning run this season with a 4-3 win against hosts Antwerp.

Super Eagles midfielder Aribo opened scoring for the Scottish giants after 38 minutes, while compatriot Leon Balogun was an 24th sub for Rangers.

Three Nigerians were in action in the scoreless draw between Slavia Prague and Leicester City in the Czech Republic.

Peter Olayinka played the entire duration for Slavia Prague, while Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester City.

Fit-again Samuel Chukwueze was an unused sub as Villarreal won 2-0 at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, David Okereke started for Belgian champions Club Brugge in a 1-1 draw at Dynamo Kiev and Victor Osimhen could not save Napoli in a 2-0 loss at Granada CF.
