The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of ₦2.001 trillion July 2025 revenue to the Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils.
The announcement was made in Abuja by Bawa Mokwa, Press Secretary to the Accountant General of the Federation, after the FAAC meeting for August 2025.
According to the communiqué, the distributable revenue comprised ₦1.282 trillion statutory revenue, ₦640.610 billion Value Added Tax (VAT), ₦37.601 billion Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), and ₦39.745 billion Exchange Difference.
From the total, the Federal Government received ₦735.081 billion, States ₦660.349 billion, Local Governments ₦485.039 billion, while oil-producing states got ₦120.359 billion as 13% derivation.
The communiqué added that gross revenue in July stood at ₦3.836 trillion, down by ₦415.108 billion from the ₦3.485 trillion recorded in June.
VAT collections, however, rose to ₦687.940 billion from ₦678.165 billion in June.
