The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Nyesom Wike, has moved around the polling units to assess the conduct of the Area Council elections.
At the Area 11 polling units, the area was largely deserted, with officials seen idling.
At Lagos Crescent in Garki II, the three polling units visited as of 12:20 p.m were scanty, as INEC officials and the corps members on duty barely had voters to attend to.

Several POS operators seen on the streets in Garki 2 were advised by the FCT Minister to suspend their business activities until 6:00 p.m.
He urged them to go and exercise their franchise.
Some youths in Garki 2 came out of their houses in their numbers, hailing Mr. Project.
