Fireboy DML, Asake ‘Bandana’ top Apple Music chart

Nigerian Superstar Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known by his stage name, Fireboy DML is having a good run with his latest work.

 

 

 

On Friday, July 15, 2022, the YBNL Nation superstar and 2022 BET Award nominee served the music community with a beautifully crafted single labeled; “Bandana’ featuring his label mate, Ahmed Ololade, professionally called Asake.

 

 

 

‘Bandana’ happens to be the second track off his hugely anticipated third studio album captioned; “Playboy’ which has been scheduled to be released on Friday, August 5, 2022 on all major.

 

 

Well, the potential hit single which debuted on Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria during its first week of release has now moved to occupy the number one spot on the Music Chart. See screenshot below.

 

 

Fireboy DML also hinted of dropping his third album, ‘Playboy’ on Friday, August 5, 2022. He made the announcement after his historic performance at the 2022 BET Awards and also at the iconic Wembley Stadium.

 

‘Playboy’ album houses four already released singles; ‘Peru’, ‘Peru Remix’ featuring Ed Sheeran, ‘Playboy’ and ‘Bandana’ with his label mate, Asake. The impending album follows his ‘Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps‘ in 2019 and ‘Apollo’ in 2020 which were widely accepted by the music community.
