Foundation Empowers Over 5000 African Youths Through Digital Skills Training

The Live Your Dreams Africa Foundation, a Nigerian-based NGO, has empowered over 5000 African youths through a 10-week training program focused on high-demand digital skills.

According to a statement from the Foundation, the training covered topics such as design principles, personal branding, software proficiency, sales and marketing, business modelling, leadership strategies, and project management.

The initiative aims to train 10,000 youth across Africa and has participants from 32 countries, with Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK leading in the number of applicants.

The programme was designed to equip young people with the necessary skills for career advancement and business development.

Bankole Williams, Founder of Live Your Dreams Africa Foundation, stated: “We are excited to launch this programme to provide young people with opportunities to develop valuable skills, believing that investing in youth is essential for personal, professional, and community growth. This initiative addresses the growing demand for digital skills in the job market by providing tools to help young individuals excel in creative and digital industries.”

The training, delivered through a live online academy, provided practical and hands-on experience to participants, empowering them to become skilled professionals and entrepreneurs in fields such as graphic design and community management.

The Foundation, dedicated to combating unemployment in Africa, focuses on empowering communities to pursue entrepreneurial dreams, narrowing the poverty gap, and fostering economic development.
