Gombe APC State Executive endorses expulsion of 3 federal legislators

The Gombe State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Gombe State has endorsed the decision of the party at ward and local government levels to expel the senators representing Gombe South and Gombe Central, as well as the House of Representative Member Representing Lubo/Difa/Kinafa Ward of Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area.
Addressing journalists in Gombe, the Publicity Secretary of the party in Gombe State, Mr. Moses Kyari, said the State Executive Committee met and extensively discussed the issue of anti-party activities and resolved that the expulsion was in line with the provisions of the Party constitution.
Mr. Kyari said the dismissal of the three federal legislators followed due process and as such the executive members decided to endorse and reaffirmed the expulsion.
It will be recalled that the APC at their various levels in the state sacked Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, Senator Bulus Amos and Mr. Yunusa Ahmed Abubakar over their involvement in anti-party activities, before and during the 2023 Presidential and Governorship elections.
“During the meeting, the state Executive Committee reached the following resolutions: 1. That the decision of Kashere ward of Akko local government to expel Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje is in line with the provisions of our Party constitution and they have followed due process, therefore we endorse and reaffirmed the expulsion. 2. The state Executive Committee endorsed the decision of Bambam ward of Balanga
Local Government for the expulsion of Senator Bulus K. Amos and has also endorsed the decision of Lubo/Difa/Kinafa ward of Yamaltu Deba Local Government to expel Hon. Yunusa Ahmed Abubakar,“ said Mr. Kyari.
He said the Gombe State Executive of the All Progressives Congress had urged the leadership of the party at the zone and national levels to endorse the decision of the party from ward, Local
Government and State Executive Committees, in line with the provisions of Article 21, Section A, subsection ii, ii, vi and vii of the APC Constitution.
Overall, the State Executive of the APC in Gombe State passed a vote of confidence on Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, as the leader of the party in the State.
