The All Progressives Congress in Gombe State has suspended Senator Bulus Amos, representing Gombe South in the Senate.
Senator Amos was suspended by the Executives of Bambam Ward of Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State for anti-party activities at the just concluded general elections.
The party said; “the decision was reached after the findings of a petition written from his ward, which caused a five-man committee of the ward to investigate the matter.”
The Committee invited the Senator to defend himself from the allegations but failed to turn up for his defence, hence the recommendation for his suspension and eventual expulsion from the party.
The committee said “the order for the suspension would take affect from Saturday, 8th April 2023.”
In the same vein, the member representing Yamaltu Deba Federal Constituency, Mr Yunusa Abubakar, has been suspended from the APC after the outcome of a disciplinary committee found him guilty of anti-party activities at the just concluded General Elections.
The party said his suspension would take effect from Saturday 8th April 2023.
The part said the suspension had both been ratified by the State Executive Council of the
Party.
