The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the reconstitution of the Kwara State Sports Commission.

Governor Abdulrazaq returned seasoned Sports Administrator, Coach Bolakale Mogaji as Executive Chairman.

This is contained in a Statement by the Press Secretary of the Commission, Saheed Abdullahi, in Ilorin.
The Statement said others reappointed to the board include Dele Abubakar, Member representing Kwara Central and Abdullahi Yunusa Lade Member representing Kwara North.
Mrs. Monisola Yemisi Makanjuola is also appointed as Member representing Kwara South.
According to the Statement, all the appointments take immediate effect.
Kwara United Hails Reappointment of Magaji as Executive Chairman, Sports Commission
Meanwhile, the Kwara United Football Club has applauded the reappointment of Coach Bola Magaji as the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Club Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye described the reappointment as well-deserved, considering Magaji’s remarkable milestones during his first tenure.
Kumbi noted that his return to the position will further build on and consolidate the monumental achievements already recorded in sports development across the state.
“On behalf of all of us at Kwara United, we congratulate Bola Magaji on his reappointment by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. This is indeed well deserved, a right peg in the right hole,” Kumbi stated.
The statement further prayed for God’s guidance and protection for Magaji in his renewed task of taking sports in Kwara State to greater heights.
Others reappointed to the board include Alhaji Dele Abubakar , member representing Kwara Central, and Abdullahi Yunusa Lade, member representing Kwara North
The new face that joined the team is Mrs. Monisola Makanjuola, who will be representing Kwara South.
