Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has announced a robust initiative to support the Nigerian Police Force in their efforts to combat crime within the state.
This commitment includes the provision of Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC), Gun Trucks, and various operational vehicles to bolster the force’s capabilities and enhance security measures.
Governor Bago made this promise during the official commissioning of the state-of-the-art Police Divisional Headquarters in Chanchaga Local Government Area of the state, which operates under the jurisdiction of the Niger State Command.
The structure, a generous donation from the Niger State Government, replaces the former facility that was situated above a critical water pipeline, affecting water supply to more than 200 households.
