Niger State Governor, North Central Nigeria, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has restated his commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens of the state.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Umaru Bago emphasized that his administration is tirelessly working to combat the security challenges plaguing certain parts of the state and enhance overall security.
Governor Bago acknowledged the gravity of the insecurity affecting the people, affirming that the safety and well-being of the citizens remain the topmost priority.
He reassured the public that proactive measures have been taken to curtail criminal activities within the state.
He says “I am deeply troubled by the security situation in certain areas of our state; it is a shared concern. My government is unwavering in its commitment to ensuring the adequate protection of lives and property in the state.”
The Governor recognized the sacrifices made by both traditional and non-traditional security forces in addressing these challenges and urged them to redouble their efforts.
Governor Umaru Bago encouraged the populace to maintain their faith in God and his administration, assuring them that goodness will prevail over evil, and there is hope for a brighter future.
