A political group in Kogi State has expressed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending his leadership style and transformational agenda, which they described as vital to Nigeria’s economic recovery and national development.
The Kogi West FGYB Legacy Group made the declaration after a high-level strategic meeting of stakeholders from the seven Local Government Areas of Kogi West Senatorial District, held in Kabba, Kogi State.
In a communiqué signed by the group’s Drafting Committee Chairman, Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo; Secretary, Tanko Mohammed; and Member, Shaibu Ipinmisho, the stakeholders praised President Tinubu’s bold economic reforms, energy sector interventions, and extensive infrastructural projects nationwide.
They described the president’s administration as people-oriented and committed to laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
“The people of Kogi West Senatorial District are direct beneficiaries of President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda. His courageous economic reforms and investment in critical infrastructure have rekindled trust in government and rekindled hope among Nigerians,” the Communique read.
The group pledged their support for the president’s second-term ambition, promising to deliver over 90 percent of the votes from the district in future elections.
Highlighting specific achievements under the Tinubu administration, the stakeholders pointed to improvements in electricity stability, road infrastructure, and renewed federal attention to long-neglected regions.
According to the group, President Tinubu’s leadership has brought “unprecedented national cohesion and clarity of purpose,” particularly through inclusive policy formulation and implementation.
Traditional rulers, community leaders, and citizens were urged to align with the government’s vision and play active roles in sustaining peace and supporting policy implementation at the grassroots.
The meeting had in attendance key political figures, including the Kogi All Progressives Congress Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello; state commissioners, federal lawmakers, local government chairmen, and other prominent stakeholders across Kogi West.
Bello, in his remarks, praised President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, describing it as a comprehensive framework for national rebirth.
