According to Oberah, OLM is a group of like-minded individuals in the academia and public service, with a mission to provide quality healthcare services to the vulnerable members of the society.
He emphasised the significance of access to quality healthcare services and expressed gratitude to the volunteers and partners who contributed to making the medical outreach a reality.

The president said that the skilled healthcare professionals volunteered their time and expertise to provide care and support to individuals of all ages, addressing various health concerns and promoting preventive measures.

He said that no fewer than 250 beneficiaries from Igah Ocheba and its environs benefitted from the maiden edition of the medical outreach.

He said that the success of the free medical outreach was a testament to the power of community engagement and collective action in addressing health challenges and improving the quality of life for all residents.

Oberah advised the people to always take care of their health, maintaining that “health is wealth.”

Earlier, the National Chairman of Ocheba Progressive Association (OPA), Mr Nathaniel Idoko, who declared the medical outreach open, commended the forum’s efforts at organising such a programme for the community.

Idoko, who stressed the importance of regular health check-ups for the overall wellbeing, enjoined the people to take advantage of the services provided.
Also speaking, one of the medical personnel, Dr Emmanuel Abah, commended OLM for a successful maiden outing.

Abah also commended the residents for the large turnout and appealed to the organisation to help in improving the existing health facilities in the community.

Mr David Ameh, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanked the OLM for the initiative and for exhibiting ‘high sense of love’ for their homestead by giving back to their roots.
Ameh prayed for God’s guidance and protection over the members of the forum.

The free medical outreach featured a range of essential healthcare services, which included general medical consultations.

Other services were blood pressure and sugar level check-ups, health education sessions and free drugs dispensing.
