A political group, Progressive Frontiers (PF), has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking at the group’s official national launch in Abuja, the National Convener, Oluyemisi Oshaloto, described Progressive Frontiers as a vibrant, nationwide political support organisation dedicated to promoting the visionary leadership of President Tinubu.
Oshaloto said; “Today marks the beginning of a movement grounded not just in numbers, but in purpose.
“Progressive Frontiers is built on three core values: patriotism, accountability, and nation-building.”
These principles, she explained, serve as the foundation for PF’s mission to act as a crucial link between the government and the people.
“Our goal is straightforward. We want to highlight the accomplishments of President Tinubu’s administration achievements characterized by courage, reform, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to advancing Nigeria,” she explained.
Oshaloto emphasised the group’s commitment to encouraging citizens’ active participation in governance, promoting policy discussions, and advocating for sustainable development across Nigeria.
The group intends to mobilise widespread support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and champion the policies and successes of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“We will reach out to people at grassroots, state, and national levels through education, advocacy, and public enlightenment, showcasing the administration’s significant achievements,” she said.
She also stressed the importance of combating political misinformation by providing accurate, transparent, and reliable information.
Praising President Tinubu, Oshaloto described him as a bold leader with a vision for economic revival, inclusive governance, and generational renewal that resonates with millions of Nigerians both at home and abroad.
Highlighting key reforms, she explained that the administration has made strides in fuel subsidy reforms, infrastructure investment, small business empowerment, social investments, economic restructuring, and enhancing Nigeria’s global reputation.
Oshaloto insisted that the government cannot drive progress alone.
She said; “This is where Progressive Frontiers plays a vital role—mobilizing citizens, shaping positive narratives, and ensuring accountability in governance, equity, and national unity.”
Oshaloto characterised PF as more than a support group, calling it a “people-powered platform” uniting patriots from all regions, tribes, faiths, and backgrounds to expand Nigeria’s horizons.
“We engage communities, host policy dialogues, and tell Nigeria’s story—not only as it is but as it can be,” she said.
Oshaloto announced that Progressive Frontiers would soon launch strategic programs and grassroots activities to uphold these commitments.
South West Coordinator of the group, Oluseye Abimbola said that the group would focus on raising awareness of President Tinubu’s efforts in agriculture, health, and the economy.
“Progressive Frontiers aims to mobilize support around the president’s policies, especially as we witness positive developments in the economy and food production.
“These successes will significantly impact the re-election campaign, and our group will help amplify this message,” Abimbola said.
The North Central Coordinator, Femi Stephen Owoaiyi explained that the initiative seeks to narrow the gap between citizens and government decision-makers.
“Many people know what is happening in the country, but they lack access to those in power. Our programme strives to bring ordinary Nigerians, especially the disadvantaged, closer to decision-making processes to pursue goals that benefit the entire nation.”
Owoaiyi encouraged Nigerians to be patient and support the group’s mission, describing Progressive Frontiers as a vital bridge connecting the grassroots with the corridors of power.
