Handball: National Division One League Begins In Edo State
The National Division One Handball League began last weekend in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria and will end on July 29th, 2023.
Edo State two weeks ago hosted the phase 1 of Ardova Handball Premier League, which is sponsoring the National Division One League, has welcomed teams eager to earn promotion to the top division.
Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Almu Umar Lambu, in a statement said the participants have started jostling for points in the competition.
The top two teams in the men’s and women’s categories would be promoted to the 2024 Handball Premier League.
