The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that supplementary elections for the governorship and House of Assembly will hold in two Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Delta State.
Mr Monday Udoh-Tom, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Delta State, disclosed this at the State Collation Centre in Asaba.
The REC further explained that elections would take place in two wards (Gbaramatu) of Warri South-West LGA and one ward (Amai) of Ukwuani LGA due to the failure to distribute election materials for the Governorship and House of Assembly election held on Saturday.
Speaking further, Udoh-Tom confirmed to newsmen that the Electoral Officer for Ndokwa East Local Government Area has been suspended for unprofessionalism during the conduct of the polls
