INEC To Continue Collation In Cross River On Monday

The All Progressives Congress, APC has won 12 of 18 Local Governement Areas, LGAs in Cross Rivers State on the March 18th Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

The figures were announced by presiding officers from the various LGAs at the State Collation Centre in Calabar, the state capital in Southern Nigeria.

The APC emerged victorious with top votes in Obubra, Biase, Abi, Bakassi, Yala and Calabar South Local Government Areas.

More figures ticked in for the All Progressives Congress in Akpabuyo, Calabar Municipal,Odukpani,Yakurr,Etung, and Obudu Local Government Areas.

Next to the APC was the PDP having won in Bekwarra, Ogoja, and Ikom Local Government Areas.

Three  Local government Areas results are yet to be announced. There are; Akamkpa, Boki and Obanliku.

The Returning Officer in the State, Professor Teddy Adies, Vice Chancellor Federal University, Otueke, Bayelsa State said the Collation Centre would reconvene on Monday by 9am local time for the remaining three.
