Investors made more gains on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, NSE as market capitalisation rose to N45 billion on Thursday.
The NSE all share index stood at 0.53 per cent or 207.36 basis points to close at 39, 293.15 from 39,085.78 recorded on Wednesday.
Also the market capitalisation of equities appreciated by N45 billion to close at N20.558 trillion higher than Wednesday’s N20.513 trillion.
The day’s activities saw investors trading on 229, 417 million unit of shares in 4, 016 deals.
Wapic Insurance Plc led 22 other advancers with a 10.00 per cent gain on its share price to close at N0.55 kobo.
UPDC Resl Estate Investment Trust followed with a 9.80 per cent on its share price to close at N5.60 while Pharmdeko had 9.63 per cent on its share price to close at N1.48 kobo.
FGS202257 led the 13 other decliners with a 9.61 per cent loss on its share price to close at N100.00.
Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc followed with a loss of 8.33 per cent on its share price to close at N0.22 kobo while NPF Micro Finance Bank Plc had a 7.22 per cent on its share price to close at N1.80 kobo
