Islamic Cleric Cautions Senior Civil Servants On Hostile Leadership

An Islamic Preacher in Ilorin, Kwara State, North-Central, Nigeria, Sheikh AbdulRasaq Aremo has cautioned all Senior civil servants in the country against oppressing their juniors under whatever guide.
Sheikh AbdulRasaq, gave the admonition at a special Ramadan lecture organised by the Muslim staff of Governor’s Office, Ilorin.
The preacher spoke on the topic; “Oppression, its forms and effects on the society” at an event chaired by the Special Adviser on Strategy to Kwara State governor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu.
Sheikh Aremo enjoined the senior civil servants to treat their subordinates with mercy and be kind to them at all times.
Bountiful favour
He said an injustice to a fellow human being will not go unpunished by God except the offender seeks and gets forgiveness from the oppressed.
The guest lecturer equally enjoined leaders at all levels to deal with their subordinates or those they govern justly so that they could earn bountiful favours from God.
The gathering later held a special prayer for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, asking God to grant him a successful second tenure of office.
The Special Adviser on Political Communication the governor, Alhaji Bashir Adigun and Special Assistant on Religion (Islam), Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaigoro were among the dignatories that graced the event while the Imam of the Governor’s office mosque, Alhaji Abdulrasaq AbdulRaman was the chief host.
