Jigawa State: Emir of Dutse Turbans two business Moguls

The Emir of Dutse, Mohammad Nuhu Sanusi, has urged business moguls in Nigeria to help the government build a stronger economy.

The Emir made the call while turbaning two illustrious business Moguls in his palace in Duste, Jigawa state Northwest Nigeria. He also urged them to innovate more ways of helping the less privileged in society.

The two illustrious businessmen are Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu an oil Mogul as ‘Sardaunan Dutse’ and Mr. Adokiye Ebirele Ikpoki from Rivers State as ‘Sodangin Dutse’.

The Emir, while serving them their appointment letters, said the elevation of Danu to ‘Sardaunan Dutse’ and the turbaning of Mr. Adokiye Ebirele Ikpoki was a collective decision given their philanthropic contributions in different parts of the country.

“Your appointment is deserving because you have assisted people in the area of education and empowerment. Please continue to do that,” the Emir said.

The Emir noted that Nigerians will continue to benefit from the goodwill of wealthy individuals whose good heart always thinks positively about the people.

He called on Nigerians to always be their brother keeper irrespective of political and geographical location.

Speaking in an interview, the Sardaunan Dutse, Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu expressed gratitude to the Emir and the Emirate for the honour.

He promised to continue to offer support to vulnerable communities in Nigeria, especially in the area of education.

The new ‘Sodangin Dutse’, Mr. Adokiye Ebirele Ikpoki from Rivers State who also spoke in an interview promised to use his new traditional title to champion a united Nigeria.

Sardauna is one of the major traditional titles given mostly to only the royal kinfolks and distinguished personalities who significantly contributed for the progress of the society.

Among the dignitaries who attended were Vice President Kashim Shetima, Former President Mohammadu Buhari, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamu, former Chief of Army Staff retired General Tukur Buratai, Former Chief of Naval Staff Auwal Zubairu Gambo, business Moguls, Captains of industries Politicians friends and well-wishers among many dignitaries.
