Kaduna State Begins Free Medical Service
The Kaduna State Government has began a one week free medical service to residents of the State.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Mohammed-Baloni said in a statement that the free medical services would be available in all public hospitals and clinics.
“The service will, however, cover common illnesses such as Malaria, and children under five and pregnant women,” she said.
The commissioner said to access the service, intended beneficiaries must present their Residency Cards or National Identification Numbers.
She said the gesture was to cushion the hardships of residents due to current cash crunch.
