Kano Governor elect urges Muslims to Sustain Ramadan lessons

Kano State Governor-elect, His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has felicitated Muslim Umah and the people of Kano on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting.

He said Ramadan has come to an end with the sighting of the crescent for Shawwal, lessons of compassion, generosity, discipline, patriotism and peaceful co-existence it taught should be sustained by the citizens for a better society we all crave.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Yusuf admonished the good people of Kano to pray for Allah’s guidance for the leadership at all levels especially as the new government takes over on 29 May 2023.

“Better days are ahead of Kano people as the incoming government under my watch will create enabling policy environment for everyone to live in peace and harmony,” he said.

He urged citizens to remain patriotic and peace-loving while praying for the tranquillity and prosperity of Kano and Nigeria.

H.E. Abba Kabir Yusuf also cautioned against reckless driving and other unguarded salah celebrations to ensure the safety of all Kano residents.
