Kogi State Hails Olumode’s Appointment as Fire Chief

The Kogi State Government has congratulated Mr. Samuel Adeyemi Olumode on his appointment as Controller General of the Federal Fire Service by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the government described the appointment as a well-earned recognition of Olumode’s dedication, professionalism, and national service.

The state also thanked President Tinubu for his “continued confidence in the capability of Kogi indigenes to contribute meaningfully to national development.”

“Kogi State takes great pride in this achievement.

We are confident that Mr. Olumode, in his new role, will initiate reforms and drive advancements within the Federal Fire Service, further highlighting the exceptional leadership potential from our state.” The statement read in part

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed confidence that Olumode’s leadership will elevate Kogi’s national profile and pledged the full support of the state government as he assumes his duties.

The government wished Olumode a successful and impactful tenure.

Olumode’s appointment is widely seen as a boost to Kogi’s growing influence on the federal stage and a testament to the state’s public service contributions.
