The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has set December 1st, 2025, as the final deadline for intending pilgrims to pay for the pilgrimage.
The fare for the 2026 Hajj is over N7.6 million.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, said in a statement that there would be no extension after the deadline.
Abdulsalam explained that “the Board must remit all payments to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) early to meet the timeline set by the Saudi Hajj authorities.”
He also noted that visa processing for the 2026 Hajj would begin in February 2026, and any delay in payment may stop a pilgrim from taking part.
The Board advised intending pilgrims to complete their payments, submit their international passports, take the required vaccinations, and obtain a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital..
