Kwara: Traditional Ruler urges Nigerians to pray for peaceful co-existence

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for peaceful co-existence at all times.

In a statement by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, he disclosed that the emir was reacting to the release of the Kadiriyah’s family members who were recently kidnapped from their residence in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Sulu-Gambari who commended security agencies for their efforts and commitments which led to the release of the victims, expressed sadness over the death of Nabeeha in the hands of their abductors.

He further described Kadiriyah’s family as a valuable and integral part of the Ilorin city due to their intellectualism, patriotism and contributions to the development of Islamic tenets in the society.

The Emir, however thanked the entire people of Kwara and Nigerians at large for their prayers and solidarity throughout the period.

He therefore commended the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), under the leadership of its National President, Abdulmumini Abdulmalik, for their prays to the God to grant the deceased, Nabeeha Kadiriyah, total forgiveness,  accept good deeds and admit her into Al-janatul firdaos.
