The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has rejoiced with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 10th coronation.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described Oba Ogunwusi as a phenomenal traditional ruler with a strong penchant for national interest, stressing that his crucial contributions to security, unity and social harmony have inspired widespread public support over the years since his enthronement as the 51st Ooni of Ile-Ife.

This was contained in a goodwill message issued by the Emir’s Press Secretary, Dr Abdulazeez Arowona.
He noted that the celebrant has continued to drive national interest through deep commitment to shared cultural values, prosperity and the collective well-being of the people.
The Emir also recalled Oba Ogunwusi’s visit to the ancient palace of Ilorin during the early period of his ascension to the throne, where he championed unity in diversity through frequent interactions that reflected mutual respect and cultural exchange.
On behalf of all members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari wished His Imperial Majesty many more years of peaceful reign on the revered throne.
He also expressed gratitude to the government and people of Osun State, as well as the Federal Government of Nigeria, for their support for Oba Ogunwusi in his quest for peaceful coexistence across the nation.
The Emir further prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to strengthen and protect the monarch, granting him a long life to witness many more years on the revered stool of Ile-Ife.
