Meanwhile, Swedish media outlets Aftonbladet and Expressen reported that Mbappe, captain of the French national team, is under investigation for rape following a visit to Stockholm. However, Mbappe’s entourage claims unawareness of any legal complaint, and the player himself denies the allegations as “fake news” on X.
The timing of the reports has raised suspicions, with Mbappe suggesting a link between the Swedish allegations and his ongoing dispute with PSG. The French league (LFP) previously ordered PSG to pay Mbappe the owed amount in September.
