The National Leadership of Labour Party in Nigeria has Felicitated with the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Obi as he marks his 64th birthday anniversary.
The National Caretaker Committee Chairman of Labour Party Senator, Esther Nenedi Usman stated that the party has oined “millions of Nigerians – both at home and across the diaspora – to celebrate” to celebrate Mr. Obi.
Senator Usman in a press statement, also commended Mr. Peter Obi for his “extraordinary courage, humility, resilience, and unwavering belief in a new Nigeria that works for all.”
She stated that “Even in the face of recent political developments that have taken an alarming and unprecedented turn” urge Mr. Obi not to relent in his “noble quest for justice, equity, and good governance.”
She said Millions of Nigerians have come to see in the party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate “a flicker of hope”.
Senator Usman enjoined him to “remain that beacon of hope to the despondent and long-suffering critical mass of our people.”
She is confident that with steadfastness and focus, this hope will, in no distant time, be fully realised.
The Labour Party National Caretaker Committee Chairman further “offer prayers for many more healthy and fulfilling years ahead”.
