The ObiDient Movement, an umbrella name for the Supporters of Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi has come out en masse across the 774 Local government Areas of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory FCT, to show their resolve to create a new Nigeria that works for everyone.

The Obidient 100 Million Global March is the final phase of a three pronged approach to rescue the country, with the slogan “NOW OR NEVER”.

The Head of Strategy and Operations of Obidient Global March, Mr Marcel Ngoghehei said in the next six days the march was going to create more awareness and tell Nigerians that the country belongs to them and they have the right to vote who ever they want as President.

He stated that the match would  also discourage Nigerians from selling their votes.

Mr Ngoghehei said “Today, we have unveiled the last phase of our 3 stage strategic approach to recover our country, the first stage was strategic positioning, where we identified a reputable candidate that represents the aspirations of the youth and worked hard to put him out there, the second stage is where we mobilized and used the power of the masses to generate unparalleled resources and capability; a deviation from the structure of corruption that hinders performance in governance. We volunteered and raised resources to ensure the incoming President doesn’t have political baggage that will hinder him from working for Nigerians.

“This is the beginning of a new era in Nigeria and Nigerians must step up to own their country, we don’t have to run to another country. The movement is going to press and March in every Local government area, Ward and polling unit to Nigerians they have a right to vote a candidate of their choice.

Head of Support Groups, Nina Atalor encouraged women to endure the hardship faced as a result of the new currency policy in the country.

She said the policy would reduce vote buying and insecurities.
