A Monarch in Lagos State, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has called for peace ahead of Saturday’s polls while urging residents to go out and vote for the candidates of their choice.

He made the call in his palace during a courtesy call on him by some prominent people from the state ahead of the governorship election in the state.

The Oba of Lagos said that every candidate has every right to contest for the governorship of Lagos state adding that all the candidates contesting for the governorship seat of the state are his children.

He prayed by the authority of the palace that God should help to turn the state better.

On the issue with the igbo race in Lagos, the Oba said that there was no way he can hate the Igbos because they were among his best friends.

“By the grace of God, there would be no trouble. All the false prophets, I am just looking at them. Everything is in the hands of God and within six months of Tinubu, there would be glaring progress.” Akiolu said.

He appealed for calm as electorates go out to vote for their preferred candidates.
